The Five Star Resort Martino is located in the lush tropical central
valley of Costa Rica which is known for having one of the three best
climates in the world. Located only 15 minutes from the airport, this
European-style hotel is surrounded by lush tropical jungle and provides
the perfect central location for exploring mighty volcanoes, tropical
jungles, rainforests and more. All rooms are Junior Suites and are
luxuriously furnished, with a terrace overlooking the large neoclassic
pool or garden, hand carved original doors, ceramic tiles, beautiful
woodwork, cable TV and direct TV, telephone and a second one in the
bathroom, minibar and air conditioned. The fruits, juices, flours,
meat, milk, eggs, cheese, and vegetables served in the restaurant are
all natural and chosen with maximum care. The breads, pastas, focaccia,
lasagna, marmeladas and pastries are homemade strictly following the
rules of the hotel's tradition and using no chemicals at all. There
have been built herb and vegetable gardens so that all of the fresh
ingredients are available right here at the resort.
